MDEC'S HKVFX PARTNERS ESCAPE STUDIOS TO PROVIDE SKILLS FOR 11,000 CREATIVE CONTENT JOBS BY 2020

​CYBERJAYA, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- Visual Effects Scene training centre HKVFX, a partner of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), announced a strategic alliance with Escape Studios, Europe’s premier visual effects academy which is a part of Pearson College London, to raise the level of artists’ skills in Malaysia. Aimed at developing high-level industry practitioners and raising their mastery of visual effects to work with current technology, the agreement will see trainers from Escape Studios visiting HKVFX to train educators and students. Students from HKVFX may also be sent to Escape Studios for further training. The collaboration sets the groundwork for local students to receive qualifications from Pearson College London. “As the Visual Effects, Animation and Games industry is growing at a rapid pace, employers are constantly seeking skilled artists to cope with the increasing workload,” says Hussin Khan, Master Trainer at HKVFX. “Workforce is the number one concern when it comes to business expansion, and thus, we aim to create skilled artists to meet the demands of studios worldwide.”
