NGC ENERGY HOSTS CHARITY LUNCHEON FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 (Bernama) -- In conjunction with its fifth anniversary celebrations, NGC Energy, a pioneer in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) solutions, recently hosted a special charity luncheon here for some 25 underprivileged from the Rumah Titian Kaseh shelter home. The event saw NGC donating daily household and food items including detergents, whiteners, fabric softeners, food and beverage as well as stationery. In a statement, NGC general manager Julianna Kamaruddin said the gesture was aimed at easing the burden of less privileged members of the society. It noted that over the years, NGC had been continuously making contributions and sponsoring various charitable organisations such as Malaysia AIDS Council, Malaysian AIDS Foundation and MERCY Malaysia, among others. Established in 2012, NGC Energy owns three LPG filling plants - in Negeri Sembilan, Johor and Perak. Its iconic yellow MiraGas cylinders deliver cooking gas to locations all over Peninsular Malaysia with an eye on quality and safety standards. Located near the Titiwangsa Lake Garden here, Rumah Titian Kaseh was established in 1988 to provide home and protection to single mothers and orphans. -- BERNAMA
