Aamir Hussain is Collinear CEO

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- Collinear, a global technology innovator for intelligent wireless connectivity solutions has appointed Aamir Hussain as new chief executive officer.

“Aamir’s extensive experience in building and supporting global telecommunications networks and his previous senior roles in strategy, operations and technology mean that he has all the qualities needed to unlock the full potential of Collinear,” said chairman, Cliff Higgerson.

“As the company embarks on its next strategic phase and major expansion into the wireless market, I am pleased to lead the Collinear team as we bring the current product suite to market,” said Hussain in a statement.

Hussain has a long track record in the communications industry where he spent over 28 years in multiple technology and product development roles.

Most recently, he was chief technology officer at CenturyLink, where he worked towards digitally transforming the customer facing and networking platforms into Software Defined Networking and a Multi Cloud Management platform.
